Get new Games

Answer

Problem: I clicked on "Get new games in ChessBase" (activated my Mega Database 2016), then clicked download New games. It shows that games are downloaded. But however when I check the Megabase 2016, the new games are not added there. May you please help me figure out what is going on?

Obviously the Mega 2016 is not yet defined as your Reference Database in CB 13 yet.

Solution: Start CB 13 and rightclick the icon of Mega 2016 – Properties. Activate “Reference DB” here and store the change.

Then login with your account to the Mega Update Service again.

Click “Update Base 2016” on the top and select all entries from the list below:

Now click “Download selected entries”. That will download the new games again and afterwards ask you to copy the game to your Mega 2016.
